God Gets a Job

A Spiritual Guide for Job Seekers and Job Keepers.

Chaos. We live in a time of a national and economic turmoil. Jobs have been eliminated or changed. We have been laid off, down-sized, fired, forced out, down-graded, reorganized, restructured, right-sized, put on part-time, reclassified and “retired.” On the other hand, we are stressed out, burnt out or can’t stand our job anymore. Some of us have even resigned from our jobs!

Chaos. We float in a numbed state, frightened and uncertain about what to do or where to go. The national unemployment rate is high and expected to remain that way for years to come. There are far more applicants than there are available jobs. There are lines at the unemployment office. Few jobs are listed in newspaper ads or on Internet-based job finder’s services. Most organizations are simply not hiring; while the few companies that are hiring are flooded with applicants.

Chaos. Or is it? In response to this unique and uncertain time, job seekers and job keepers are increasingly applying universal spiritual principles to the work of finding and maintaining good jobs.

God Gets a Job is founded upon the story of the spiritual creative process and its seven stages of unfolding: Light, Faith, Imagination, Understanding, Discernment, Love and Rest. This concise work offers seven simple chapters of proven, practical, and effective universal spiritual principles, practices, and prayers for people who are attempting to find a job, secure a different job, or keep an existing job. The book is based upon the author’s direct experience as a corporate executive and leader of a large non-denominational global spiritual movement.
